About the Team

The Source team have strong educational backgrounds in social research and IT, and have wide ranging experience working within the voluntary, public and private sectors.  

Social Purpose

The social purpose of Source is to support the growth of the social enterprise and voluntary sector, through a wide range of activities including:  

• Defining and promoting the scope and scale of the sector
• Undertaking & participating in research projects that produce a greater knowledge to the sector
• enabling others to Identify gaps within the sector to aid networking and service planning
• Reducing the duplication of information gathering across the sector

 

 

 

Glasgow Council for the Voluntary Sector

Glasgow Council for the Voluntary Sector is the main development agency and advocate for voluntary and community organisations in Glasgow.

 

We work alongside community and voluntary organisations, responding to needs through a range of services and training to help them be best equipped for their service users and wider community.
