Scoping Exercise

Commissioned by Glasgow Social Economy Partnership

The research emerged from discussions with the NHS in Greater Glasgow & Clyde where they expressed a willingness to provide procurement opportunities to the voluntary sector. However, they highlighted that they find it difficult to establish what products and services these organisations offer. Thus the primary purpose of this research was to determine the viability of the development of a Social Enterprise and Voluntary Sector Product & Services Web Interface .

Mentoring support to CVS North Lanarkshire in large scale data collection, database and website development.

North Lanarkshire CVS approached Source in relation to providing advice and assistance in developing their own ‘Infobase’ system. This system would enable them to capture and analyse important information on the community and voluntary organisations within their local area and subsequently play a crucial role in informing both the CVS and local partners service planning.
